How do I access
and make updates to the database
once it is set up? step
by step, screen shot instructions
Step 1
Below is an empty SQL Server
Enterprise Manager screen. Begin by registering a new SQL Server by right-clicking on
Microsoft SQL Servers and selecting New SQL Server

.

Step 2
The following window will be generated to
launch the wizard that will help you set up a connection profile to your SQL database.
Click Next to proceed.

Step 3
Under Available servers
select sql1.burlee.com and click Add so that sq1.burlee.com is moved to the
Added servers column on the right as shown below. Click Next.

Step 4
Select the bottom radio button as shown
below and then click Next.

Step 5
Type in your MS SQL user account username and password in the fields below
and click Next.

Step 6
Accept the dafault settings as shown
below and click Next.

Step 7
Click on Finish to complete
the set up of your connection to your SQL database
on sql1.burlee.com.

Step 8
Click Close to officially end
the wizard set up process.

Step 9
You should be returned to the following
screen. Expand the Microsoft
SQL servers and SQL Server Group icons.

Step 10
Double click on
SQL1.BURLEE.COM icon.

Step 11
Click on Yes when the
following window is generated to connect to the SQL server.

Step 12
You should now be connected to the SQL
Server and able to work on your SQL
database using the Enterprise Manager tools. You will be able to find your
database by expanding the Databases folder as shown below.

Now you can administer your SQl
database.
